"Manwich - now Keto-Friendly" (manwich)

...something that is probably British made for the Canadian/US market probably given the side the steering wheel is on as well as the Lucas markings on the front and rear lights.
And you can see the size of this compared to my Fit.
Anyone know what this is? I haven’t had time to investigate further...

GM Envoy?
was it Opel or Vauxhall, might have been a short lived Canada only brand. iirc
steering wheel hub says Envoy

At first I thought it was a Ford Anglia wagon but pip is right about it being an Envoy brand. Definitely appears to be a European compact car as a captive import.
Great pictures by the way. I appreciate you giving us the full shakedown of the car from every angle. It's a surprisingly elegant little thing and very space efficient.

it’s a car missing a 6-71 blower out the hood. You should buy it and fix that problem.

That is cool! It looks kind of like a mini ‘56 Chevy wagon.

A buddy of mine actually knows where a Vauxhall Victor is abandoned in the woods, near his house (Western NC) . In the US, instead of being a captive “Envoy” brand, they were sold for a while through Pontiac dealers.
In other words, the derelict near him is the sedan version of one of these (and LHD also) but still British in branding.

Yup... and it is a GM design... specifically Vauxhall... sold as an ‘Envoy’ in Canada.

These cars were brought into Canada before the US-Canada auto pact free trade agreement. Before that time, it would make more sense to import some vehicles from the UK because because Canada was/is part of the British commonwealth as stuff that came in from the USA had higher tariffs.
